24836655 L/Cpl Ciaran Crone (Smith)
IRISH GUARDS

Formerly Ciaran Smith, I changed my name to Crone by deed poll in 2004, and here are some of my memories of the best ten years of my life. I say that cause if it wasn't for the Irish Guards I wouldn't be the man I am today and I wouldn't have met some of the most wonderful people you'd ever meet, and that's to you Ricco, you red arse . . .

I served in the Micks from 1988 to 1998 and some would probably remember me for becoming a Chef (slop jockey) in Berlin in a moment of madness and ended up returning to the Micks cause I couldn't bare the fact of really leaving the Battalion however it's the one thing that I'm always reminded about !!! So I wonder was I the last regimental Chef   ? ?. . . .
I also served with 6pl 2 coy - 2 coy stores - Regimental info team and
briefly in 4 coy South Armagh.

Here are a few photos I would like to share with Micks everywhere, especially any who may recognize themselves and get in touch.
