Were you in the Guards Armoured Division ?


I have been asked to find anyone who could help a Dutch visitor.
He is building a website about World War Two and writes :
Dear Ivor, On my website I inform visitors which units (forces) participated in the Operation Market Garden (and the aftermath). A lot of visitors, especialy the youngsters, don't know much about this. I believe a personal story from a veteran will let visitors feel/see/experience what it was like for men like yourself. On every page (subject), I will ask a veteran to write me a short introduction story. I hope you would like to help me find a veteran from the Irish Guards (part of Guards Armoured Division in 1944) who is willing to help me in writing this intro-story. My idea of a short introduction story is: - Why you chose to join the army - What were your thoughts - What you expected - What were your experiences. If you have other ideas of an introduction story or questions, please let me know... yours truly,
