Inspired by my site, Peter Ruffle has designed this Website Page as a tribute to his Dad
I am reproducing it here to show you what you could do yourself.

2722695 GUARDSMAN CLEMENT WILLIAM (BILL) RUFFLE
12/12/12 TO 30/11/88

                                  IRISH GUARDS  UK

My name is Peter Ruffle, youngest son of Clement Ruffle. My Dad served with the Irish Guards throughout the UK between 1940 & 1945 mostly in the Southern Counties at Pirbright, Caterham, Wool, and mostly at Hobbs Barracks  Lingfield near East Grinstead.

His roll throughout his military career was as a Driving Instructor attached to a Training unit. He often told me of his numerous narrow escapes and hair raising experiences with new recruits  ...  is there anyone out there with a similar story, or perhaps he taught YOU to drive!!!

I only  took an interest in family history a few years ago and  recently discovered  the attached squad photo.. do you recognize any of the names?
