I pop in from time to time to see your father's site. My father also served
with the Micks - 3Bn - during WWII and I had just printed some bits and pieces
for him to see.

I am very saddened at the news of Ivor's death. Although I never
had the privilege of meeting him, he sent me some very kind e
mails and very kindly published my old photos on his fantastic
website. By doing this he put me back in touch with a few of my

What a shock and what a loss, not only to Ivor's family but also to the whole
Irish Guards family.
As previously said, Ivor was a lovely man, someone we were all proud to call
"My Friend"
In particular Ivor was very supportive of the Irish Guards Singers and for this
