I pop in from time to time to see your father's site. My father also served with the Micks - 3Bn - during WWII and I had just printed some bits and pieces for him to see.
I am so sorry to hear about your father's death.
My condolences to you and your family.

Sincerely,
Diane
I also appreciate that you are keeping your father's site up and running. It is a mine of information, and I personally know that it helped one person find a photo of his relative who died in 1945.
Many thanks.

I haven't been able to pop in lately, so was devastated to read of your fathers' death.  My sympathies go to your family.  Ivor came across as a very kind and gentle man.  He always took the time to email his thanks for the Christmas greetings I sent.
God Bless,  Eileen Gorman.

Dear Tim,

I am very saddened at the news of Ivor's death. Although I never
had the privilege of meeting him, he sent me some very kind e
mails and very kindly published my old photos on his fantastic
website. By doing this he put me back in touch with a few of my
old mates. I'm very greatful for that. He was a wonderful 'Mick'.

Kind regards

Danny

What a shock and what a loss, not only to Ivor's family but also to the whole Irish Guards family.
As previously said, Ivor was a lovely man, someone we were all proud to call "My Friend"
In particular Ivor was very supportive of the Irish Guards Singers and for this I will be eternally grateful.

God bless you Ivor for the kindness and thoughtfilness you have shown to all of us. Thank you also for the magnificent support you gave our Regiment. Condolances to Margaret, Tim and the rest of Ivor's family. Rest in Peace dear friend.

John & Doreen Hyland
